A GLIMPSE AT WHAT WE DO
Inverse Scientific’s visual communications team breathes life into the science and math of engineering. Our documentation process is completely integrated with visual communication production to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.

Commercial Vehicle Reconstruction
Question: In which event(s) did the passenger vehicle sustain intrusion into the occupant compartment?

Answer: The passenger vehicle sustained intrusion into the occupant compartment during the first impact to the rear by the white tractor-trailer. The tractor's front bumper completely overrode the passenger vehicle and impacted with the blue trailer. One hundred percent of the car's length was crushed during that event.

Roadway Maintenance: Edge Drop
Question: Was the condition of the roadway shoulder causally related to the single-vehicle accident?

Answer: No, it wasn't. The overcorrection (and thus loss of control) by the driver occurred prior to the driver exiting the paved surface. This is not consistent with the alleged edge-climb loss-of-control theory.

Contaminated Backup Alarms
Question: To what degree did the contamination of the backup alarm degrade its performance?

Answer: For the subject accident scenario, contamination of the backup alarm delayed the ability of the pedestrian to hear the alarm above the ambient sound level from 7.5 seconds to only 1.0 second before the impact.
